GOD CONFIRMS THE CALL

5-foldThroughout my life, I have always known that there was something just a little bit ‘different’ about me. I’m sure those who know me well would agree. I remember my parents telling me that it seemed as if I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth because no matter what was going on in my life, everything always seemed to work out in my favor. I didn’t understand then, but I came to learn much later that the anointing of the Lord had always been there. God knew me long before I came into the knowledge of Him. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

As far back as I can remember, the Lord has given me dreams, visions and words of knowledge. These experiences later came to include divine encounters and miracles. Humbly, I can tell you that I have even heard the audible voice of God. I used to think everyone had these experiences, but I soon realized that this was not the case. Not wanting to appear ‘crazy’ or ‘strange’ to people, I kept these things to myself  for most do not understand – in fact, until only recently, I didn’t even understand. Over the years, I have shared my experiences with only a handful of people. That is, until now…

It is important for people today to know that God still speaks and He communicates in many, many ways. He speaks to His people through the Holy Bible, which is the Inspired word of God, and He also speaks to His people through His people who include His prophets who still exist today. How does God communicate with His prophets, you may ask? Well, I cannot speak for all the prophets. I can only speak for myself and what I have personally experienced. God has communicated with me through the audible hearing of His voice, angelic encounter, prophetic dreams, visions, open visions, revelation through writing, miracles, discerning of spirits, audible messages, as well as through His chosen vessels in the Church.

I share with you a few of those encounters below:

  • In 1985, in a vision while pregnant with my second child, it was revealed to me that I would deliver a son born with blond hair, blue eyes and a mouth full of teeth. When my son was born, he did in fact have blond hair and blue eyes – but no teeth. However, I discovered years later that the teeth was symbolic of what was to come concerning him…
  • In 1993, in a dream/vision, I watched as my body was fully engulfed in a Holy fire in which I felt no pain. I was told by an angel to “let it happen” after which I saw my body on fire but not be consumed…
  • In 2001, a woman I barely knew stopped a prayer meeting to anoint my feet with oil saying that God told her to do so for I would walk on Holy ground…
  • In 2001, I began to receive Holy Spirit-inspired psalms and poems that continued for several years…
  • In 2001, late one night after finishing one of the Holy Spirit-inspired poems, I heard God audibly call out my name…
  • In 2002, God worked through me to perform a public healing miracle for a woman with a lung condition called sarcoidosis in a room full of eye witnesses that included a sister of mine…
  • In 2002, in a vision, the year ‘2006’ flashed before mu eyes. A message was given to me that in that year, something would happen that would change my world as I knew it. In 2006, this event came to past…
  • In 2002, in a dream, I looked out the window of my house and witnessed many white tigers calmly watching me from various locations. Some were sitting on the branches in the tree outside my house, some were standing on the roof top and some were on the ground outside of my window. I have since been told that these white tigers represent angels that have been assigned to me because of my call…
  • In 2008, I experienced the literal shaking of the ground beneath my feet while eating in a restaurant with my husband – I was the only one who felt it. The next day, I was shown in an open vision while watching television, the image of a weather broadcast warning of earthquakes that are destined to hit many major cities all over the world…
  • In 2016, in a vision, I saw myself awake from a surgery in a small white room where I was given the message that I had received a brand new heart. This was followed by a rod of authority being placed in my left hand which I was told I must always balance…
  • In 2016, in a vision, I was shown a bundle of rods tightly bound together with a red band. It was shown to me that when I would speak, the red bands would turn white and that which was bound together would become loosed…
  • In 2016, in an open vision while awake in my bed, I saw an extremely bright light envelop my bedroom accompanied by the sound of a whirlwind that increased in intensity and became louder as it moved closer to me. I then saw a figure that was brighter than the light that lit up my room stand on the right side of me and begin to lift me off my bed. This figure was an angel…
  • During the later part of 2016, after having heard for years from more than two or three witnesses that there was a powerful call of God on my life, I prayed and asked that God Himself confirm to me my call. God graciously answered my prayer and gave me a vision. Two days following that prayer, God graciously gave me an answer. In big, bold, beautiful capital letters, He showed me a word. This is what I saw: SEER. That confirms it for me.

I have learned that everything God has revealed to me over the years has been for the purpose of edification and preparation. With the reveling of my call, revelation from the Lord has only increased and intensified. This makes perfect sense to me as time is drawing near for the imminent return of Jesus Christ. We, the Church, must all be about Kingdom business. The time to step out and share what God is doing in all of our lives in NOW for there is much work that must be done before that glorious day can arrive. For “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37)

Welcome to my world…

“…EXCEPT IN HIS OWN HOMETOWN AND AMONG HIS OWN FAMILY”

“Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his own family.” And so He did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:57-58)

broken-familyJesus was raised in Nazareth by His earthly parents, Mary and Joseph, along with his brothers and sisters. The people of Nazareth knew them all very well. When Jesus began to speak and teach with power and authority, one would have expected everyone who heard Him – especially those who were closest to Him – to believe in Him, support Him and encourage Him in the ministry He was sent here to do. But sadly Jesus found that familiarity only bred contempt.

The people were amazed at Jesus’ wisdom for they knew He had no formal education. But yet, because He was so familiar to them, it was hard for the people – as well as His immediate family – to accept Jesus as the Holy Son of God. Instead of the honor He deserved, Jesus was met with disdain and ridicule which is why He could do very little miracles there. The attitudes of the people were the likes of, “He’s just a carpenter, who does he think he is?” None of this caught Jesus by surprise. Everything that happened, happened by design.

This walk that we’re on can be a very lonely walk. Child of God, don’t be surprised to find that those closest to you will be the ones least likely to stand with you and believe. It is during these times that God is revealing to you the true state of their heart. Jesus said, “Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting Me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting Me. And anyone who rejects Me is rejecting God, who sent Me.” (Luke 10:16) As hurtful and disheartening as this may be, use this revelation as an opportunity for prayer and intercession on their behalf. Do not allow yourself to get angry. Instead, stand in the gap for them.

Family can be a source of love, comfort and support but family can also be a stumbling block. The Lord knows this. It is for this reason the ties that we have to our family will be challenged. Jesus said, “If you love your father or mother more than you love Me, you are not worthy of being Mine; or if you love your son or daughter more than Me, you are not worthy of being Mine. If you refuse to take up your cross and follow Me, you are not worthy of being Mine. If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for Me, you will find it.” (Matthew 10:37-39) The idea of separating ourselves from our family is a hard thought to comprehend for most however, as a follower of Jesus Christ, it is a reality that we may have to accept. Not everyone will be saved. This may include those you are closest to and love the most. Does this anger you? It should. If it does, do something about it. Share Jesus with them and fight for your family on your knees for we are surely at spiritual war! This is not a time for passivity. Jesus said, “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Your enemies will be right in your own household!’” (Matthew 10:34-37)

When you are tempted to feel alone, remember that you are NEVER alone for Jesus said, “This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) And as for family, remember this: When Jesus’ disciples told Him that His mother and brothers were looking for Him, Jesus replied, “Anyone who does the will of My Father in Heaven is My brother and sister and mother!” (Matthew 12:50)

Be encouraged!
